The Monterey Peninsula Country Club established The Morse Foundation Scholarship Fund in 2015 to provide scholarships to employees and their family members to promote learning and enhance the quality of life for employees.

The Community Foundation for Monterey County’s philanthropic services team worked with members of The Morse Foundation’s Board of Directors to design the scholarship program, including developing guidelines, criteria, application forms, and reviewing and selecting recipients. The Morse Foundation also established a stewardship fund to manage the investment of the foundation’s funds for growth over time while making them available for awarding scholarships and addressing other unmet needs.
