Experts like Geoff Green, CEO of CalNonprofits, and Professor Daniel Chand of Kent State University will examine emerging risks to funding and operations, highlight actions undertaken by California leaders, and offer actionable strategies to safeguard the sector’s work.

Attendees also will hear from CHIRLA as a valuable case study to show resilience measures in action, namely proactive steps to deter hardline immigration policies from lessons learned during the first Trump Administration. A panel of leading advocates in the sector, including representatives from Planned Parenthood, the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF), and Interfaith Alliance, will share insights on the power of coordinated advocacy, collective action, and countering harmful narratives.

The webinar will conclude with a discussion on resources to support nonprofit resilience, followed by a Q&A session to address your organization’s unique challenges and needs.
