The Community Foundation for Monterey County is beginning a search for its next President & Chief Executive Officer.
After 15 years of dedicated service, President/CEO Dan Baldwin will retire in summer 2026. With this thoughtful, planned transition, the Board of Directors is launching a national search to identify the next leader who will build on the Foundation’s strong momentum and guide its work into the future.
The Community Foundation is in a position of strength—financially, programmatically and strategically—and remains deeply committed to inspiring philanthropy and strengthening communities throughout Monterey County. Throughout this transition, our mission, partnerships and grantmaking will continue without interruption.
We invite experienced, mission-driven leaders who are passionate about community impact, philanthropy, and collaborative leadership to learn more about this opportunity. A search committee comprised board members and past board chairs led by Vice Chair Kathleen Lee is guiding the process.
