Board Ready Training

Are you interested in bringing your talents and lived experience into the nonprofit board room?

Board Ready is a supportive training on board essentials to help you feel energized and prepared to serve on a nonprofit board of directors. Attend this interactive, online presentation to gain a basic understanding of how to be successful in this role. Offered by the Center for Nonprofit Excellence (CNE) of the Community Foundation for Monterey County.

• $25 per person
• Beginners or those with some prior nonprofit board experience are welcome. Intended for those based in the Monterey Bay area.
• Leadership Monterey County Alumni and LEAD Institute Alumni are especially encouraged to participate.

Those who successfully complete Board Ready will be invited to attend 2026 BoardConnect, an in-person reception with local nonprofit organizations to explore working together: Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Details to be announced.
