Read full details. \nThe Board Empowerment Program will support up to 12 organizations to make meaningful changes in nonprofit board structure\, policy or practices for a more effective\, empowered board of directors. Participation is by application and includes the following: \n\n$5\,000 unrestricted grant\nTeams of two representatives (e.g.\, Board Chair and Executive Director) work toward ambitious yet achievable goals for their organization.\nNine months of focused guidance and coaching with Dr. Lydia Hughes-Evans of Pure Momentum Consulting.\nThree cohort convenings (in-person on March 28\, June 27 and September 26\, 2025) offer a supportive environment and equip organizations to implement their solutions.\n\nThe program will culminate in a shared collection of resources and lessons learned to benefit of the broader nonprofit community. \nDr. Lydia Hughes-Evans is a highly experienced nonprofit organizational development consultant\, educator\, and coach with over 15+ years of expertise in nonprofit board development\, leadership training\, and program design. As the Founder and CEO of Pure Momentum Consulting\, Dr. Lydia has a proven track record of guiding organizations through transformative change\, helping them build stronger\, more effective boards and leadership teams. \nDr. Lydia holds a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership\, a Master’s in Education with a focus on Instructional Leadership\, and dual Bachelor’s degrees in English and Psychology. Her comprehensive understanding of governance\, organizational health\, and leadership dynamics equips her to support nonprofits in achieving meaningful\, systemic changes that drive long-term success.
